Express Entry

Express Entry is the most popular and efficient pathway to obtain Permanent Residency in Canada for skilled professionals. Managed by the Canadian government, it operates on a points-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS),

What is

Express Entry?

Express Entry is Canada’s immigration program designed to select skilled workers for Permanent Residency (PR) quickly and efficiently. It is a points-based system that evaluates candidates using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) — awarding points for factors like age, education, work experience, language proficiency (IELTS/CELPIP), and more.

Express Entry manages three federal immigration programs:

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW) – For individuals with foreign work experience in professional occupations.

  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST) – For skilled tradespeople in construction, manufacturing, and other technical roles.

  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC) – For applicants with at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada.

Steps in the Application Process for Express Entry

Check Eligibility

Ensure you meet the minimum requirements for the FSWP, including:

At least 1 year of continuous full-time skilled work experience (NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3) in the last 10 years

Language proficiency in English or French (minimum CLB 7)

Educational credential equivalent to a Canadian secondary diploma or higher (ECA required)

You must also score at least 67 out of 100 points on the FSWP selection grid.

Take Your Language Test

Complete an approved language test (IELTS/CELPIP or TEF) and obtain your results. This is essential to calculate both your FSWP eligibility and CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score.

Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)

Have your foreign education assessed by a designated organization (e.g., WES, IQAS) to confirm it is equal to a Canadian credential. Without a valid ECA, your education will not be considered for points.

Create Your Express Entry Profile

Once eligible, create an online profile through the IRCC Express Entry portal. You will receive a CRS score based on age, education, language ability, work experience, and other factors.

Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)

If your CRS score meets or exceeds the cutoff in a draw, you will receive an ITA to apply for permanent residence.

Submit Your PR Application

Submit your complete Permanent Residency application within 60 days of receiving the ITA. Ensure all documents (police clearance, medical, employment letters, etc.) are uploaded accurately.

PR approval & Visa stamping

You will receive your confirmation of PR visa approval from the Federal Govt. Once received, you have to approach the Canadian Embassy in your country to get the visa stamped in the passport.

Who Should Apply Through Express Entry?

Skilled professionals with at least 1 year of work experience

Strong English or French language test scores

Recognized educational credentials (ECA)

Applicants seeking a faster pathway to Canadian PR

Candidates interested in settling anywhere in Canada, with or without a job offer

PNP - Program

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate skilled workers who meet local labor market needs. It’s an excellent option for applicants with specific job skills, lower CRS scores, or a desire to settle in a particular province.

What is

PNP?

The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who meet local labor market needs. It’s an ideal route for those who may have lower CRS scores but possess skills in high demand within specific provinces.

Each province has unique streams and eligibility criteria, and we help you target the best-fit province based on your profession and profile.

A PNP nomination adds 600 points to your Express Entry profile, giving you a major advantage toward getting Canadian PR.

If you have a specific province in mind, relevant work experience, or a valid job offer, PNP could be the perfect fit for your Canada PR journey. We help match your profile with the right PNP stream, prepare your documents, and ensure a smooth and timely nomination process.

Steps in the Application Process for PNP

Choosing the Province

Choose the right province based on the job demand. This should also meet with your career and job history.

Submission for the Nomination

Activate your profile through the Express Entry based PNP or directly to the province based on the respective provinces requirement.

Invitation from the Province

You will receive an invitation once the profile is shortlisted through the Provincial Nomination. This adds 600 CRS points to your Express Entry.

Submit PR Application

Prepare and submit the application for the PR to IRCC with nomination from the Province attached along with other required documents.

PR approval & Visa stamping

You will receive your confirmation of PR visa approval from the Federal Govt. Once received, you have to approach the Canadian Embassy in your country to get the visa stamped in the passport.

Who Should Apply Through PNP?

Skilled workers in occupations that are in-demand within a particular province.

Candidates with a lower CRS score looking to boost their chances through provincial nomination.

Applicants with a valid job offer from an employer in a specific Canadian province or territory.

International graduates from Canadian institutions who wish to stay and work in the province they studied.

Candidates with ties to a province through family, previous education, or work experience.

AIP - Program

The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) is a pathway to Canadian Permanent Residency for skilled workers and international graduates who want to live and work in Atlantic Canada.

What is

AIP?

The Atlantic Immigration Program is designed for skilled workers and international graduates who wish to settle in one of Canada’s four Atlantic provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador.

It’s a great option if you have a job offer from a designated Atlantic employer and want to enjoy a high quality of life in peaceful, fast-growing regions. This makes it ideal for individuals who may not have high CRS scores but have the skills needed in these growing, community-focused regions.

This employer-driven program is designed to support regional population growth, address labor shortages, and boost economic development in smaller, welcoming communities. AIP is known for being faster, simpler, and more flexible than traditional immigration routes, making it an ideal choice for qualified applicants who may not meet the high CRS scores required under Express Entry.

Steps in the Application Process for AIP

Secure a Valid Job Offer

Secure a non-seasonal employment with a designated employer in one of the four Atlantic provinces — Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, or Prince Edward Island. The job must match your skills and meet the AIP eligibility criteria (NOC TEER 0–4).

Get Endorsed by the Province

The employer submits an application to the provincial government for your official endorsement. You will receive a confirmation of endorsement letter, which is essential for the next step.

Create a Settlement Plan

Before proceeding, you must create a settlement plan through a recognized settlement service provider in the province. This plan helps ensure you and your family are well prepared to integrate into Canadian life.

Apply for Permanent Residency

With the endorsement letter, you can now submit your Permanent Residency (PR) application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). You’ll need to include all supporting documents related to education, language, funds, work experience, and the job offer.

PR approval & Visa stamping

You will receive your confirmation of PR visa approval from the Federal Govt. Once received, you have to approach the Canadian Embassy in your country to get the visa stamped in the passport.

Who Should Apply Through AIP?

Skilled professionals with a valid job offer from an employer in Atlantic Canada.

Candidates with moderate language scores (CLB 4+) looking for a simpler PR pathway.

Families seeking fast-track PR with settlement support from welcoming provincial authorities.

Individuals with work experience in occupations in demand, such as healthcare, trades, or hospitality.

Applicants who prefer peaceful, affordable living in smaller Canadian communities.
